DIY Statement Necklace

Hey Guys! I have been loving the statement necklace trend lately, but they can be pretty expensive, so I decided to create one myself! I started to play around with some beads and chain and figured out how to make this necklace! Hope you enjoy!
What you will need:
-Variety of different beads
- Chain (Whatever size you prefer)
-Thin silver wire
- Flat nose jewelry pliers
- Round Nose jewelry pliers
- Cutter jewelry pliers

~You can find all of the materials at most craft stores~

 Step 1: Find your beads
- You can pick all one color, or multicolor beads
- You want to have a variety of shapes and sizes

I decided on all blue beads.

Step 2: Measure wire
- You want to cut about 12 inches of wire with your cutter jewelry pliers

~Before beginning the next step, be sure to bend one end of the wire so that your beads don't fall off.~

Step 3: String on the beads

-Put all your beads on the wire in no order!

 Step 4: Secure the beads
- Twist the wires at the end
-Be sure to leave about 1/4 of an inch untwisted
 Step 5: Twist!
- All you have to do here is twist the beads!
- Be sure your twists are as tight as possible.
 Step 6: Measure your chain
- Measure around your neck how long you want the chain to be
-Now multiply that by two if you want a doubled chain like I did
Step 7: Prepare to put it all together
- Line up the necklace with the looped part of the chain next to the looped part of the beads
- Put the open end of the chain with the twisted end of the beads

Step 8: Putting it all together Part 1
- String the end of the chain through the looped part of the beads
-Pull it through until both sides of the chain are equal

This is how it should look:

Step 9: Putting it all together Part 2
- Take both ends of the chain and loop each end link on one of the wire parts
- This part is tricky, so just play around with it and you should get it!
- Twist the wire to secure the chain
- Now use the flat nose pliers to bend the wire over so that you don't have wires poking out
This is how it should look:
 Step 10: You're done!
-Yayy! now just play around with it and make it exactly how you want it.

This is how it should look:

TIP: If your necklace is too short to pull around your head, pull the looped chain through the looped beads until one of the chains fits around your head and then do the same with the other chain.

Let me know how yours turns out if you try it!

Have a beautiful day!
